About Me

My name is Peter Stollery, and I am a cybersecurity enthusiast dedicated to mastering the world of cyber defense. While my primary interest lies in blue team operations, I have also been delving into Linux CLI and Kali Linux for reconnaissance and penetration testing. My goal is to blog about my journey, covering topics such as reverse engineering tools, automation scripts for digital forensics, and the creation and testing of web applications.

I hold a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, but my passion for technology has been a constant throughout my life. With a background in physics, mathematics, and economics, I have always enjoyed working with numbers and technology. From a young age, I found myself disassembling and repairing laptops, computers, and RC cars. Recently, I have rekindled my interest in the tech world and have earned several CompTIA certifications, including Network+, Security+, and CySA+.

I am proud to have passed the Security Blue Team Level 1 certification, a hands-on credential that I completed in 9 hours out of a possible 24. This certification provided me with valuable experience in security fundamentals, phishing analysis, digital forensics, threat intelligence, SIEM, and incident response. Additionally, I am ranked in the top 1% globally on the online platform TryHackMe, and I plan to blog about my progress through various rooms on the site.

Join me as I share my insights and experiences in cybersecurity, and explore the exciting world of digital defense.
